Amoxil for Cats
Amoxil is an antiviral drug that veterinarians commonly prescribed for cats that are suffering from bacterial and other forms of infections like; skin infection, urinary tract infections and ear infections.

Amoxil is available in tablet forms of 100 mg – 400 mg, capsule forms of 250 mg – 500 mg and the oral liquid form of 50 ml. Usual dosage is about 5 to 10 mg per lb in every 12 to 24 hours. But the actual dosage for cats should be determined by the veterinarians.
Side Effects of Amoxil for Cats
Antibiotics like amoxil are strong and have instant effect, the dosage of amoxil for cats must be accurate and with prior consultation from a veterinary doctor. Cases of dose of amoxil for cats can result into some severe and minor side effects.
The worse side effect of Amoxil on cats could be bloody stool (diarrhea), shortness of breath, rash, hives, tongue swelling, fainting, bruising, seizures or unusual bleeding. Some less severe side effects could be abdominal pains, nausea, vomiting or fungal infection.
