Amoxil Side Effects
Amoxil is a panacea for many dangerous bacterial infections caused by microorganisms. Amoxil is a beta lactam antibiotic that effectively combats against bacterial infections. Amoxil stands out among other beta lactam antibiotics and it is prescribed by most of doctors. Amoxil is generally prescribed for children. Amoxil is a penicillin antibiotic that is used for the treatment of deadly disease such as lyme, pneumonia, salmonella and infection of Chlamydia and urinary tract. It is also used to treat and prevent the chances of occurring of anthrax.

After using amoxil drug one may notice symptoms of several diseases appearing all at a time or one by one. But it is to be noted that certain diseases may not disappear even after stopping the course. After administration of amoxil drug, patient may have indigestion that is followed by severe diarrhea and vomiting. In some cases bloody and watery diarrhea would occur that continue to have its adverse effects and weakens the patient even after stopping the course of medication of amoxil drug. Amoxil can cause allergic reactions that may begin suddenly. Such reactions initialize with a drastic change in mental state of a patient, appearance of rashes on skin, severe itching that starts spreading greatly all over the body from finger tips. Rashes can prove very dangerous and hence an instant consultancy of physician is preferred. Rashes initially appear on trunk and start spreading at a rapid rate. Rashes caused due to amoxil drug may be indication of infectious mononucleosis.
A pigment of RBC’s called bilirubin gets destroyed in the liver itself. When liver cells are severely damaged the pigment does not get diffused that makes sclera of eye, urine and body turn yellow. When amoxil administered liver cells get damaged and this causes jaundice. One can also notice severe pain in abdominal cavity.
Swelling occurs in some parts like lips, tongue and face after administration of amoxil. One may find difficulty in breathing especially in night time. This is often termed as bronchial Asthma. There would be nervous tension, profuse sweating, irritability, confusion, anxiety etc.
Other common adverse effects include, yeast infection, hives, wheezing, seizures, nausea etc. However there are lot of other adverse effects, but a few common and important are mentioned here. There is a probability that some may not experience any of above diseases.
